    Over the years, I've been able to get my pack...

    Over the years, I've been able to get my pack weight down to 54 lbs for a 10 day mule deer hunt at 12,000'. Most of the wright comes from food to sustain the amount days in the high-country.

    I've bowhunted it every year for the past 30+ years. Not as many deer in the desert as there used to be, but still a fun hunt and great time of the year to be out there.
