They don't post here...the liability of showing off their lack of hunting knowledge is too great
your friands got lucky alrite, iv never heard of that much luck in a unit that has four wheelers in it , i would say its vertually impossible to do this kind of hunt
Just points for me as well.
I have been hunting by myself for awhile now. I grew up hunting with some of my best friends in the world... I still cherish those memories with them.. But, things change and I am the only one of...

You shouldn't have! Looking out the window at falling snow.... I can't wait to hit the high country in a few looong months. Great pictures!
Looks great! Thanks for sharing
My goal is to find a good mule deer buck during the summer months in the high country, and then kill him with my bow. I would really like to find something in the 170+ region, but this will be a...
I think another reason for the decline of Mule Deer is the increase of people running around the mountains all winter, letting their dogs chase deer around through the heavy snow. I have personally...
I agree with what others have said, the worst part about it was the guy's attitude after the shot. Luckily, he was able to stick him with a killing shot quickly.
Nice bulls! Thanks for sharing

Thank you Montana! So, so true! Someone just posted a picture of a buck on another site I look at, claims it scores 203 or something like that. Truth be told, it is a 160 buck at best. I never...
That is a good question. I could see things getting a little interesting driving around Yellowstone with a big elk rack sticking out of the back of your rig! :) I have to say I think it would be...
Awesome job Joe!

That's the 4th stag buck I have seen shot this year in Montana. Seems to be a lot roaming around these days. Nice buck!
That's a dang good one! How wide did he end up being?
That's a dang good one! Congrats!!
Alright guys,
I figure I should update about my mule deer hunt. I hunted hard for 6 straight days. I think I ended up turning up 14 different bucks. 2 of which were takers.
I spotted one...
I would definitely listen to Bitterroot, he knows his optics! That being said, I love my Vortex Nomad, and you could get a tripod with it and still be in your price range. Just my input!

Very nice! That's a bummer about him rolling off the cliff, but it didn't look like any of the tines broke. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks guys. I am not to optimistic about my chances at a good buck as of right now. I seen 3 bruisers during archery season, but I haven't seen them since. I have passed a few small, 18-20" 3 and...
I have the 312-50 limited entry buck tag, so I will be hunting the Bridger Mountains.
It seems to be going pretty good here in SW Montana. My roommate shot a decent little buck this morning, he said there were deer running around and chasing every where. I get to hunt tomorrow...
I hope you're right! I remember what was on my mind around senior prom.
