Very nice bull!
Sounds good!
Make sure you stop into the Hunters Blind and say hi... Les
I'm losing that property to hunt:~( Friend and his family are moving and that was the last N C property I had to hunt. Actually, there is some public land I need to scout.
He was shot above NC
That wasn't treated. I ended up pealing all the velvet off... Linseed oil works well for velvet.
Thanks... This buck was in velvet when I shot him. He had to much character to hide it under velvet lol
Here is one of the bucks I shot last year. I also finally finished a bracket I designed a few years ago

This is considered a California mule deer. Body size tend to be smaller then their RM brothers. You can find all the info off the DFG website.

Well, went with the 2200. I know, it's not a BW but it seems to have everything I want right now. Thanks for all the input.
Sounds like I'll might hate WY. ROAD TRIP!
Thanks Jeff. When are you guys going to make a turkey SLIP system;-)
The bird has 9"+ beard and 1" spurs
Looking to move out of California and want to move to a state that has a good number of elk. Archer friendly and all;) I do love to deer and bear hunt with archery equipment as well.
Thanks for the link!
I believe it was the DFG website that I read about the cross. I also heard that DFG is trying to recognize these deer as a species.
I'm up in the hills in Nevada County ;-) And thanks
Here is an opening day tom.

Seems like I've owned every bow on the market and decided to go back to my 09 Pearson z32 with r2b2 cams. What an amazing bow!
Called them a while back and never got a call back :-(
official... If I scored it, he would have scored well over 200 lol
Good to know. I need to get out and do a coastal hunt real soon.
I'll send you a pm
What months? I know our archery begins and end with velvet (end of archery hard horns start showing up)
