Going archery elk hunting in Sept. For elk does anyone have the 411 on the elk population for that area this year ,2010 was the last time I hunted this area and it wasn't as good as 2008, the wolf...

There is little u can do to adjust ur lungs to thin air but like,others have said go slow if u can arrive acouple of days in advance increase ur elevation by a thousand feet each day and give ur body...

I have Fred flintstone feet , fat,square,and thick , I buy lowa's they work for me have used them since 2008 2az. Elk hunts and 2 Idaho elk hunts very comfortable they work for me.

Jmsz I can relate to ur frustration, I too wish there was more public land to hunt them now days it costs way more than it is worth, u constantly hear how wild hogs r devastating Texas land owners...

I too have wanted to hunt pigs in California but on a budget also so if u find anyone in the 350.00 range pleas let me know.

Mine is easton Excel shoot great at all distance tuff as nails doesn't break my bank to buy ,matter of fact planning on buying 5 dozen before they go up in price or discontinue.

I got the red ram and no complaints ,LOLwore my boxers 5 straight days to put them to the test, I was amazed,just started to smell on the fifth day.
