Well my hunt was a success. It only took an hour but I guess the scouting paid off. Took a nice buck that I had seen while scouting. Kinda sucks the season was over so fast but I can't complain. 4572

I saw two bulls in there this weekend. They were still bugling.
Just to be safe I would verify the area is open before you head down there. They might have it closed off due to the fire.

No luck with elk but drew a rifle mule deer rut tag in 37. Going to Idaho/Oregon for elk I guess.
I use a molle style holster on my Dragonfly and it mounts perfect to the hip belt.
Well Zim congrats. I watched that bull and six others for a week and I only had a deer tag. Glad someone got him. Hopefully I'll be back there this fall with an elk tag.
