Thanks to all. It was good memories. The bear green scored 21 inches. So all said and done it might make the minimum for awards which is 20. I'm 240 and the bear was significantly bigger than me....

My dad is 77. 2 ankle replacements. He's in great shape but slowing down. First and only black bear he will ever get. My son was also there. Big bear and great memories

I know the area well. Access is tough. And to hike up whiskey mtn or the glacier trail is very steep. Theere r plenty of elk in that area. It sounds like u r a resident. So u still have time to...
