Nice buck. Congrats!
Congrats on your success!
Lots of new goodies this year for me, but my favorite has to be my Zeiss Victory HT 10X42's.
Way better than any other glass I have owned and should be the last pair I'll ever need to buy.
Congrats, that's a great speed goat!
Have a great trip! That's one on my bucket list for sure.
Thanks for the input CC. The area my buddy has info on is in the eastern part of the zone, around Naturita. Still drawn to 62 for other reasons, but we'll see. I plan on getting back Tue/Wed to look...
Narrowed it down to one of these two units for our 2nd season otc elk hunt. This will be our first trip hunting Colorado, so we have zero first hand knowledge. A friend from work has hunted 70 with...
I have hunted elk many times, but this will be my first trip to Co.
Going to hunt B-zone while I continue to build points for one of the highly coveted late season tags.
My main hunt this year will be my first trip to Colorado for elk.
Anyone use Swackers? Been thinking of giving them a try this year.
I'd take him. That would be a cool mount for the wall.
Anyone use the puffy jacket from Kuiu? Considering buying one, but looking for some feedback before I buy.
Got my 2015 License in the mail today and found out our group was able to pickup undersubscribed black bear tags for DL030, Kupreanof Island. Pretty excited as none of us have been to Alaska before. ...
Glock 27 for me.
Just picked up a pair of Zeiss Victory HT 10X42's. These are my first pair of high end bino's and they blow my old Nikon Monarch's out of the water. Couldent pass em up after finding them online at...
With all the good input I've got on here so far, I've decided to try out the .270 on my hunt. May need to take a look at some different bullets for the thicker skinned elk, but it sounds like a lot...
Thanks for the input fella's. I may just stick with my old elk rifle (.300Wby). I have taken several elk with it, but was looking at saving a couple of pounds by carrying my new T3 Lite in .270.
Putting in for an elk draw in Co. and if we strike out, it's an OTC elk tag.
Recently purchased a new .270 Win for deer hunting, but am considering taking it on my elk trip this fall.
Anyone on here use a .270 for elk and if so how has it performed for you?
I'll be shooting...
Looking for some feedback(good or bad) from anyone who has hunted/ fished at this lodge.
Considering a black bear/wolf/halibut trip there in 2015.
Thanks in advance for your input.
