Very nice, 25C.
I reviewed the Wapiti APO a couple years ago. It provided a lot of performance for the money.
Build quality was pretty good for a Chinese OEM binocular also.
I don't know about their warranty...
I had a PM asking if I still have the X2.
I do. There was a buyer that backed out, so anybody interested go ahead and send me a PM.
Odds are similar to drawing a Missouri Breaks ram tag.
So ... not good.
When it comes to the rut in SE MT, later is typically better. Thanksgiving sees a lot of bucks chasing does. The public land in that area will see a LOT of trucks, so keep that in mind.
Well, it is hard to get inside info on a public forum.
It has been several years since I have been in the Tobacco Roots, but they always had solid, middle of the road type elk hunting when I was...
I like 140 grain bullets over Winchester 760 out of mine.
Couldn't agree more OJ! I had a "Eureka!" moment for a slogan teeshirt when I read your quote. ;)
As far as Eureka gear goes, I am with Scott and the others: solid construction, good...
Your buck is awesome, I remember seeing the mount on the Eastmans tour a few years ago.
Any of the lightweight softshell pants have been pretty good for me. This includes the Kuiu Attack, Stoic Overhang, and several Outdoor Research variants.
As for wool, I do have the First Lite...
I am running the Outdoor Research Transonic jacket for my ultralight raingear this year.
25C's technique is pretty similar to what I do. It sounds like you had a little longer torso adjustment than SG recommends originally, but you may have shortened it a tad now? That could...
GovX requires ID or a .gov email.
It is like Promotive, but has some other brands.
Kaenon sunglasses are nice, and they are on GovX.
That is a sweet headlamp, UH. The 18650 models take it to new levels of brightness too!
It is a re-branded Meopta spotter, IKIC. Optically, it is pretty awesome. I would just save a few hundred bucks and get the Meopta or Cabelas branded versions.
I like my CR123 Princeton tec, but I am also very impressed with Zebralight headlamps. They have AA models, but the rechargeables are really eye-opening. Like turn night into day eye-opening.
The photos I have seen are pretty good, and I would bet they would suffice for an Eastman's spread with one caveat:
GoPros have a ton of distortion. You would need to correct for that in software.
Another fine buck, BSA!
I wouldn't put too much into "break-in" I would clean after 5 shots for the first twenty (While you are sighting in, load developing, practicing, etc.) Then clean as needed.
Some barrel makers...
I always have a spotter. I would feel naked without one.
Best thread on EF ever...
Good on you boys!
Either eyepiece would still work for me, but I suppose I would rather have the WA for the 65mm body.
While it is useable under many conditions, the exit pupil often just gets too small for my...
Struck out here also, friends.
Montana, I grew up over there and spent a bunch of time in the Spanish Peaks. I will send you a PM, but you won't have any trouble finding a billy.
hilltop, my response wasn't really directed at you so much as a general way of thinking about these issues. no offense intended, of course.
To further the discussion:
IMO, the best...
