What would you guys pick between a 25 06 or a 243?

I am orginally from Kemmerer and grew up hunting both of those units. Either one would be a great unit to try and get to find an elk. especially if you are just looking for a cow.

In wyoming you also need to buy an archery tag to be able to hunt the archery season. I think its like $20 and you can use it for all the species you draw.
