I agree with you 100%, if you're trying to draw the 'really good' hunts. However, there are numerous zones that a guy can draw every few years that can be just as productive if you put in the work.

DFG's deer harvest statistics will always be off base until they make the hunter return/report cards mandatory. The regulations may say it’s a requirement but that doesn’t mean everyone complies....
