There is deer all over D14, however with a very low success rate, they are tough to find. Pick an area and start scouting, maybe set a trail cam or two see what's in the area. You live really close...

Nice buck, I think it turned out good. The image on the leather is something I've never seen before...but with the way the mount sits with the leather exposed, I think it adds a nice touch.

This is exactly what you call a good/bad problem. It's hard to say, if your really worried about trophy quality for lopers, do the other ones. It sounds like you would draw the loper tag 100% Lol,...

Depending on the area I'm hunting, I bring both almost all the time. If I don't, I'll wish I would have.

I've had the shooters ridge sticks for along time, untill I accedently left them in utah's back country this past year! So I'll be getting a new pair soon, the same ones, I was happy with them.

Nice set-up, I'm sure glad I bought a few .223 lowers before the rush happened. I was trying to get a .308 lower but they were already long gone! We'll see what happens in the future.

I havn't drawn a tag like that yet but here's how I view the hunt....... I'm just happy to be out in some beautiful country with the opportunity to kill a quality animal, some areas have better...
