I have shot both bows. I liked both of them but ended up buying a 340. It was 200 bucks cheaper and I didnt notice a big enough difference. Both are very fast and shock free.

I am from Central California as well. Were you hunting D5,6,7 or 8? Good to hear you saw and got to put some stalks on some bucks.
