That's the way to do it. I've got 5 elk points now. But I just do OTC archery. This year was good for me got my first choice deer tag and 2nd choice antelope tag.

My Mom used it last year and it made them really curious and got them to come in. She had a few chances to take a shot but didn't.

That's a good unit. I'll be doing 3rd season rifle. Any basins you feel like hiking into should hold some good sized deer.

Yeah need something puncture resistant. I'm a barefoot guy but the barefoot boots I have the cactus goes through them like nothing.

I'm looking for some pronghorn hunting boots. Looking for something lightweight, breatheable, and highly resistant to cactus. Do you guys have any suggestions?

NRA just isn't principled enough for me. I'm a member of RMGO and GOA. NRA is definitely the largest but I think they waiver sometimes and endorse sub par politicians.

My Mom had a doe tag for there a couple years ago. What are you going for elk or deer? There are big of both in there.

I face paint. Carbo mask is good stuff. Natural camo is good too but a little greasy.

I like the worksharp for knives. I love being able to get a knife shaving sharp in a couple of minutes. It's hard to get broad heads with it. I have a kme I use for those.

83 is pretty much all private and it sucked this year. 85 can be decent nothing hyooge but there are some elk if you can get away from the crowds.
