Looks great, but would never pay that.
I'd consider $20 worth of spray paint though.
Ran an 8k race ;) under an hour, which is about 5 miles, which was a semi miracle in my eyes.
Mostly focused on running/endurance. Eating well and losing weight.
down 13lbs'ish from 200lbs in...
I believe 6.5x284 is built on a long action, just in case you weren't aware of that, since you mentioned sheep rifle and the .270wsm, thought I'd mention that.
the 2 sheep rifles I had in mind...
while there are 30+ animals allowed, I believe 29 are required... now there is a NA10 and NA25 I believe.
I'm fairly young, my future goals include the NA10, I'd like to work towards this, and...
public land?
I'd like to hire you as my guide ;)
unemployed engineer in IL here.
as I see it...
here in IL, a big buck at 2.5yo almost any hunter will take...
so taking out your best buck/genetics at 2.5yo before the rut/breeding season means, he only got to breed if he was...
no worries, just wanted to point it out, I was going to charge it, ie, online, but paper apps are not an option.
and yes residents can do online but not non-res, which is BS IMO. The excuse CO...
in the MRS it says you can apply online for CO moose, which is not the case as I see it...
Moose, Goat and Sheep are still paper apps only.
eastmans' seems to think goat and moose are paper...
Just apply and see what you draw?
I apply for some long shots, so if drawn that would be the hunt, but in general I try to draw 1 good/great tag out west each year.
But how do you decide...
There just aren't many wild free ranging bison tags out there, but there are tons of ranch hunts for bison, many of which might be more "wild" than some of these "free ranging wild bison hunts"
I...
I'll join you for a semi-cheap float trip AK moose trip in the future ;)
Have yet to visit AK but the first hunt in AK is planned to be a Sitka Blacktail on Kodiak, still at least a couple years...
check the back of your Eastmans' ;)
I don't know off the top of my head but I think a couple of months away.
and I believe everyone has a chance in MT even with 0 or 1 point.
They had been proposing this for a few years haven't they?
good idea from what I gather.
pretty sure I drew pref.pts ;)
congrats, good luck this fall!
shoot the 1st 400" you see!
About a year ago I heard the stat that something like only 3% of gun owners belong to the NRA.
Right or Wrong, I'd definitely support a 70yo applying for 30 years to get a sheep tag ahead of some 10yo kid who's never hunted.
Part of me thinks just make a fair system and keep the rules fair...
I believe the elk combo and big game combo have the same odds, but the deer combo has worse odds than both the elk combo/big game combo.
I went with the elk combo instead of the big game combo...
How many points do you have?
A few years in...?
When did you get in? when you could apply for every specie in UT? or before they went from 2 to every species? If you got in before they expanded...
I'm not sure I believe 1 place has it all, so I'd either need a few places, or to move periodically.
I'm pretty sure I'll either end up in IL or CO. Other states are great/have their perks, but...
They could easily get rid of this 2 tag system... general/special permit.
Like other states, they should have a 2nd choice option for a general tag, New Mexico has a 4th choice option/regional tag...
could lock them up... etc... but I would almost expect someone to mess with them, break them, steal them, steal your SD card. I just read in MT they're illegal to use during season...
I almost...
They have a points system for the general tag, elk, mule deer, combo, all the same thing, but then they have points for special limited units for deer/elk, ie. you have to draw the general tag to...
Just had to rant a lil, thanks guys, I went to try to just build points for deer/elk, and couldn't. and this being just a points year for me/saving $$ spending $200 for a MT elk and deer point isn't...
