Best hunting day pack: Badlands Superday & Eberlestock X2

I love the Badlands Superday: It has a ton of pockets, super durable, it is compatible with a camelbak, has plenty of space for gear 1950 cu. inches, its well thought out, and its very comfortable. Love this pack and its pretty affordable ($180). If your are a minimalist backpacker you can even go backpacking in it. Incredible pack. Some people complain about bad zippers on these packs but I've had no problems and I think you'd have to really abuse these zippers to make them brake. Incredible pack to say the least.

I like the Eberlestock X2 for its toughness, large internal space somewhere around 1900 cu. inches, special spotting scope and tripod pockets, and it only costs $150. It is well organized and designed. It's a great pack and only second to the Badlands Superday.

    What do u guys think?

I would put the X2 at #1 but that's because I have one and like it enough I don't want to try anything else. I had 2 X2's but I sold one to buy a J107. I put 8 miles on it scouting the first of the week and I like it just as much as the X2 maybe even more. I did however realize the hard way that I should have just bought the rain cover when I bought the pack. Now I have to pick one up.

My vote goes to the Badlands Superday pack. I have one and will be taking it to Colorado in October for the 2nd rifle season. It works great for me!!

Eberle X2. Best daypack I've seen thus far, hands down.

I have a badlands 2200 and want to throw it in the trash for the pure fact the zippers are garbage. It would be a great pack if it zipped up.

Eberle J104. Great daypack, great overnighter, great weeklong backcountry pack. Truly a "just one" solution.

    Gotta love the gunscabbard feature.

I've only used my X2 on a couple shed hunting trips..It will pack a heck of a load. The quality and layout of the pack is second to none in my opinion..The hip pocket location sucks!! Its also a bit noisy. I give it a 4+ out of 5. Cant wait to throw the cape of a big bull on it in a week or two..

I love my Badlands 2200. Great for a day pack, can put enough stuff in it for a weekend trip, and I can pack a quarter out on the first trip with ease and comfort. The zippers on the main compartment can be tricky to close at the top though.
