My father in law and I had a connection near Jordan on a 55K acre ranch and all we needed was a antelope tag. I thought no big deal our draw odds for NR 1st time antelope buck was about 50-55%. Did not draw. I thought not a giant problem since we can probably just get a surplus doe/fawn tag for the area, no such luck there either. Looks like no antelope this year. I think our plan no is to go to Missoula and god pheasant hunting, go to a Griz game and have a few pints of brew.

Hey Bitterroot I met some family in Missoula after an elk hunt near Wisdom and we hunted near St Ignatius a couple years ago and we did really well. My father in-laws brother lives in Missoula and has quite a bit of connections near St Ignatius. I will never forget getting up there the first morning and watching the clouds part to the East and the mountain range there, absolutely stunning. Since you mention that you are a Cats fan I will mention that I am an NDSU fan.
Go Bison!

I have hunted pheasants near St. Ignatius many times. I'm sure you will have a great time.
Maybe the Cats will see those Bison in the postseason again this year, and exact some revenge!
