    Very nice. You just don't see a lot of field photos of velvet Coues.

    Me too......but after a buddy scouted the high country and only saw a handful of bucks in the bowls, with the best being a mid-160's type buck, I wasn't too pumped to chase that size mule deer this year......especially alone for 10 days. I've always wanted to try and arrow a Coues deer.....so figured this would be my best opportunity since I had a tag in my pocket from January. They sure are an elusive and spooky deer.
