    Big Bull Down

313584_1995144034349_1115889336_31731553_2403656_n.jpg I finally tagged the big one. 2 hour stalk in the open after this toad of an elk. He had about 40 cows with him, after belly crawling between him and his cows in the foot tall grass I had him where I wanted him. It all came together somehow with alot of luck I threaded an arrow threw his ribs at a whopping 5 yards.

I found this sucker beaded out in some rolling flats while scouting for antelope, he was bedding about a half mile away from the cedar breaks and draws where he lived. I have no idea why he was hanging in the open other than it was nearly impossible to get to him unless you enjoyed belly crawling.

I am truly blessed to harvest such a beauty.
