    CVA Optima Elite 50 cal Range Report

    Went out and shot the Optima Elite today and 106 yard yard group measured around 1 1/2 inches. With a hot barrel and a body starting to get tired I was happy with the group. I pulled the last shot which gave me the upper right hole however I am ready to start checking my farther ranges which will end up being out to 250 or even 300 yards. Right now I am ready for Dec!!!!

    lookin darn good! next time try 100gr BH209 and give it a full 10 minutes in between shots to cool down the barrel.

    The xtp's are used for getting my gun close to be sighted in then once I'm close I switched to the hornady FTX 265 grain bullet which I hope will be my hunting set up!
