How to carry a DSLR camera while hunting??

I just got my new camera and I am wondering how others carry their Digital SLR camera's while hunting..
I am thinking of just adding a camera bag to the top of my Nimrod pack system. I could modify it to just snap into the excisting buckles.
Here are a couple pics to visualize this.

Just wondering what others are doing??

It would be cool to find a camo one though.

I carries a DSLR into the mountains the other weekend and just left in slung around my neck, no the best system though. I have a friend that is a professional photographer and he made a specific pouch to attach to his MR pack, it helps the works for MR though. He keeps all of his spare lenses in tube dress socks as well, could be a good tip for ya.

A holster style usually works better for most pack applications.

I like to carry mine in a tupperware container with plenty of padding. That way you have a hard case that is weatherproof and somewhat crush resistant. fatrooster.

I am considering the new Nikon 1. The sensor size is a bit smaller than the standard DSLR APS-C, but the pics I have seen from tests look pretty good. The 1080P HD video is a nice feature. The thing is barely bigger than a point and shoot camera.
