I shot my first Coues deer in Arizona in January. He was a smaller 4x4 but I was extremely happy. Sept: I went to Montana and passed on several ok muledeer and couldnt get close enough on the monster 4x4 I saw, but in the end didn't even draw my bow. upon returning to AZ I went directly out to elk hunt and after 13 days shot my first elk; a 6x6. Not a huge bull, but my first and an incredible experience. The most important thing I got this year was an enormous amount of knowledge in different areas.

got a nice javalina boar in az. in january. and a couple whitetails in west virgina. this big boy is by far my best whitetail to date.
i know for some of you midwestern hardcore whitetail freaks he isnt HUGE. but he is the biggest whitetail buck this nevada boy has ever had in bow range. and i couldn't be more pleased.
Thats a great archery whitetail no matter where you are. Congrats
thanks. wall real estate is getting pretty scarce around here. i was in the "wonderful room of death" yesterday trying to figure out where i'm going to put the 5 new mounts i got coming from the taxidermist in the next couple months. but on the bright side, i think its a pretty good "problem" to have.![]()
The body is huge on that deer!
