    Black Bears

Anyone hunt them this year? I wish I could of. It's a pretty premium tag, right now i guess.

I tried scouting for a month for Bears in Ca. I finally found were to go but now I haven't had the time to hunt.

Just curious do you know anything about pug hunts in Ca. I have no idea about seasons, areas. Sounds to me like a fun time.

It is my understanding that hunting "pugs" is illegal in the state of CA.

Pig season is year round. Public land hunting is right around 2% success.

Your best oppurtunity for pigs is to pay a outfitter and hunt on private land

Haha I guess I should check my spelling! How much does it usually run to hunt with an outfitter?

I've seen hunts run anywhere from $400 to $1,500.

I have hunted pigs a few times in Ca. Not sure about the seasons but we go in Jan. I posted in the OTHER about pig hunts and have gotten some responses. I'm looking for a outfitter in N Ca, a little closer to Reno then Coalinga were I usually go.
Pig hunts have been pretty fun. You should try it if you haven't.

I haven't yet but I know there are many in the Redding and Cottonwood area. As soon as I find something I will PM you.
