Just a quick note to the story, The deer had been shot through the horn and it was hanging on literally by a thread! Some guy came up and wanted to take a picture grabbed the horn and broke it off. You can see it in the skull cap picture. Luckly our Taxidermist says he can fix it! Not bad for a first deer though. It is bigger than anything I have ever killed. six scorable points on each side and an outside spread of 32 inches.
