Deer hunt

Waiting on the 21St to start hunting the PIW deer tag! Can't wait. We have a few bombers scoped out and I hope they are still around opening day.

Anyone else have a late season tag?

I wish. It's a buddy of mine. This is the place for sure. Poor guy been waiting all season to hunt this area but I would wait too if it was mine.

Once in a lifetime tag! I'm jealous! Be sure to post pics. some big bucks come out of there on this late season hunt! I am waiting to get drawn for that zone for the late season archery..... One day. This is turning it to be an expensive buck for you though.

Hhahah no dout! I was lucky enough that I only had to pay $500 out of the $1400 to fix my truck. Oh well pay to play I guess. This guy drew this same area last year but the early rifle hunt and there wasnt much to see. He didn't fill his tag. He also drew Elk last year and didn't fill that either! I promised him a 190+ if he would wait till this late hunt. I've got a few spots that I have a couple hanging out in so I hope to live up to my promise. I would really like to have some snow to really bring down the big boys but the post rut is just about to trickle out so I hope they hang around a little longer.

I've found some real awesome spots that hold big deer. Although they are best during the rut and after. That or lots of snow. That's what it takes to get the big ones down to the lower country. I do know of a couple places up high to look at before the snow hits too but haven't been in that country in along time and I wouldn't mine going back if someone had a tag. Either way I love to scout even if it's not my tag and find new hiddy holes for bucks.
