DIY bow hunt in San Juan national forest area

Me and a good friend if mine are planning a bow trip for 2013. We have never done this before but we are both very avid hunters. We were hoping someone would help us with some info about there area. Looking for general area to hunt, info on how to access the hunting areas, and camping areas. Any other info would greatly be appreciated also

we havent decided. dont know much about any of them. We have just talk to a few people and they said that was a good area. Any info will be helpfull

awesome place to hunt.
there isn't anywhere in the San Juans that you would be dissappointed in.
Plan on coming a week in advance and hike the mountains and spot the deer then you can try to figure out the land before opening day.
