I have my first-born son due any day now and still haven't decided on a name. How about some ideas. According to the ultra sound, its a boy and a future member of the hunting world and this forum. Appreciate all the ideas!!!

Congratulations Jay. As far as names go for a future name for a boy hunter, how about the name, "Hunter"?

Like Kevin I was going to say Hunter. A good friend of mine named his son Hunter.
I remember my x wife and I going round and round on a name for my son. She settled on Brent. I wanted Austin.

Congrats!!! I had my baby last year and named him Easton
I also like the names Ethan, Kolton, Eli and Austin.

I have a friend with a son named Ridge. Love that name.
My boys have traditional names, but I always thought Alpine would be a cool ouside-the-box name. My wife would never go for it, though.

My first born was a boy, and was supposed to be named Beau Hunter, until my wife caught on just before we signed the paper. She let me name him Hunter after all. Good luck and I hope everything works out well for baby and your wife.

Congrats! I like all of the names everyone has suggested. I have a friend named Talon that I really liked and his brother Tanner. I joked about naming my son Diesel so much a started to really like it. But my son came out a daughter so it never came to be anyway. Good luck you will choose the rite name for him.

Great ideas guys and gals. I also liked the name Hunter but thought it may be a little too cliche. I actually really like all the names given. I thought it was a good idea to post this to get some ideas but i think i threw a major wrench in the system making my decision even harder...thanks all for taking the time to give your input.
