I was wondering if anybody on the forum ever hunted 116. If I draw, I would do archery hunt first then if unsuccessful I'd come back in Nov. with a rifle. I would plan on hunting in the Black Hills National Forest.

I am actually looking into Unit 117 for an archery elk hunt....probably in 2014. Unit 116 intrigues me too. The Bearlodge area is beautiful. I heard the access is bad though. Got some info on 117 from a very standup guy here on eastmans already, but more info is never a bad thing!
