What do you guys wear for your standard outer pants for October and November hunting?
If they are water-resistant, do you still carry a separate rain layer?
Do they keep you warm over a single base layer like the First Lite base layer?

Woolies! It always just makes me feel safer wearing wool.

This year I wore Core4 Element pants, they are a little heavier weight and have a DWR treating on them that shed the water pretty good. In November when walking through knee deep snow all day they did get a little wet inside, but nothing a gaiter would not fix. I wore a base layer underneath and I didn't get cold or to hot in them.

I ran the Kuiu Attacks all November. I ran a base layer, light fleece, and the Attacks. I really like them.
I may try the Kuiu Guides this next winter though, for colder temps.
