New for this year, Your bonus points will be squared. So that means I have over 100 chances to draw a moose or a sheep this year.

Your welcome. I think this is what the MRS State forums are for.[/QUOTE]
Yeah but what did is really voluntary and nobody asked. That's real cool
Thanks for this thread Bitterroot Bulls.
One other thing that I believe that was incorrect in the MRS is that the white tail deer numbers are significantly lower in a majority of the state than they have been in years past. And nothing was mentioned about that in the MRS.
Is MT now giving out 4,500 deer combo tags? I thought it was only 2,500 in the past and I would have expected it to be less after the bad 2010 winter
Did they actually do a unit by unit break down in the MT MRS? Or, did they just do a broad generalization of each region?

One of the biggest mistakes that I see on the MT MRS is the Deer/Elk special draw application dates. It states that they are due June 1st instead of March 15th. It is listed like this in three different tables in the article, and only two of those has a footnote telling people to check final dates on the Montana FWP website. Make no mistake about it, if you wait until June 1st to apply for a special permit, you will be sorely disappointed that everyone else will already be planning out there hunts by then. As far as I can remember it has been commonly known, even before this issue came out, that the application deadline was going to be March 15th this year. I can sure see how this might upset some people this spring if they are not smart enough to get onto the Montana FWP website soon.

G&T Crazy
I saw signs everywhere in the Billings Cabela's store that said March 15th was the new date. I'm surprised Eastmans' missed that.
