Rynoskin?

Does anybody have any experience with this line?

Ticks are just terrible in the Bitterroot and Selway in the spring, and I want to get some bear hunting and elk shed hunting done without risking the fever.

I have tried bathing in deet and treating all of my clothes with permethrin, but I am still always picking the devils off or feeling them crawl into my hair. This stuff looks like it could be the firm barrier I am looking for.

Hey BB. I haven't tried them but for the price and the 100% guarantee or your money back I don't think it would be a bad choice. Thats quite a bit cheaper than most base layers. Good luck guinea pig!

I've read briefly about the product and saw it advertised in the Cabelas catalog is where it caught my eye a while back. I've heard it works well against ticks. Sounds like it should work for that. It will be interesting hearing how is does against mosquitos. I've heard mixed reviews on stinging insects but sounds like for the most part it could help for mosquitos as well.

I like the non deet aspect of the Rynoskin. Deet has messed up or melted more that I'd care to mention of my gear and it does not get a great reviews if to much gets absorbed into our bodies.

Permathrin doesn't work for you? The ticks are nasty here in Missouri for spring turkey, and permathrin has always worked for us.. I usually spray down my gear before the season starts, and I'm good to go until it's over. Last spring I hunted roughly 20 days over the course of 2 months, and only sprayed my gear down once before the first trip.. I didn't have a single tick all year.

I probably should have sprayed my clothes today, I just got back from shed hunting, and pulled two off of my jeans. It's gonna be a bad year for ticks.

I haven't had one burrow in with Permethrin, but I have had them on my pants, and picked them off the back of my neck. I used the Sawyer brand and followed the instructions. I am thinking both would be a good system.

never used the rynoskin myself, always did alright with the permathrin, but had a buddy back in Indiana that used the rynoskin suit and liked it pretty well.

The local deer always have ticks but I've been lucky and never had one in me, even when bushwacking, towards the end of summer in archery season, the misquetos are what I worry about. Rynoskin looks like it would work for ticks.
