Great looking buck! Did you treat the velvet yourself? If so what method did you use. I'm fond of formaldehyde, but not everyone can get that.
People in SUV's and suburbs will kill more game animals than a man with a bow, ever could.

That wasn't treated. I ended up pealing all the velvet off... Linseed oil works well for velvet.

I use Velvet in Tan from VanDykes. Poke the tips, then inject into the veins until all the blood is pushed out the tips. Then I put some in a spray bottle and hit the entire rack until its pretty moist. Hang upside down for 2 days before rinsing off with cold water. Works great for me...

I know the feeling. I have lost alot of property over the years to no falt of my own. (People moving, property getting sold and old timers passing.) It sucks!!! I have been doing pretty well the last few years on public ground but I'm still searching for that honey hole. Good luck this season!
