What is the status of the reintroduction of wolves in New Mexico I saw one in the Gila this elk season and heard numerous others in multiple locations. The one I saw was radio collared. Are they actually being managed or is it a similar story to the Yellowstone reintroduction where they are spreading and decimating any wildlife in their path.

From what I have heard, they are not doing too well.....seems like a lot of them are having an enviornmental problem. Too much lead in the air!
