I just checked the Hunt Expo website and discovered I won a 2012 Book Cliffs elk tag for this year. I have never been there and would appreciate any guidance to the area.

Used to know a guy when I lived in calif who hunted Books Cliffs a lot. Said it was really great. Not exactually sure, but remember he was mostly a deer hunter.Good Luck!!

Wow! That's a good tag to win! I've hunted the book cliffs with an uncle and he took a nice bull. Lots of elk around, more like shopping for the one you want and hoping you don't pass up to many and end up with nothing on the last day!. I apply for a book cliffs tag every year too. Good luck!
