    south facing slopes at 6500 ft north slopes were 4 inches or so mtns are hit and miss some are hammered and some the elk are still at 10,000 ive heard
    was using a olympus stylus shooting through my bushnell spoting scope

    CoBackcountry nice pics! Was that down in the Castle rock area? I talked to a game warden the other day and he said they are still seeing elk at 10-11,000 Ft. during there fly counts.
