Nice bucks and bulls guys! Those pigs are UGLY BigSur, I bet there tastey and fun to hunt though! Cali must give more opportunitys on Blacktail than Oregon, can you hunt more than one per year there?

BigSur, I think people lie about Cali not being a very good state to hunt in, you sure make it look like it would be fun to hunt black tails and pigs.

Yessir... 2 buck tags per year, both OTC if you want to go that route, which is what I usually do. Cali definitely has some world class hunting if you have access to the right places. I think I've taken like 19 blacktails in my 11 seasons of big game hunting. And yes, the pig hunting is a huge plus for any time you get the itch to put a hole in something.

RUTTIN, In some parts of the state the hunting is good but, other parts it's just plain crappy, just take a look at the "harvest success" on the CA fish and game web site that'll show you the truth.
