I've hunted Unit 70 several times. mostly in the Lizardhead wilderness. Good numbers of elk but there is one big challenge. In this unit there is a ranch. Most elk know the boundaries well and once pressured hed for it. I've never hunted the western portions of the unit in the BLM.
Look around the lone cone and little cone area. Don't hunt it during muzzy season is another good tip
