Anyone hunted the pigs or seen them while turkey hunting in San Diego County.

Went for turkeys on Wednesday and only saw some jakes and hens, but I did see fresh pig rooting. A hunter above me jumped a herd of six pigs and missed about a half dozen times as they fled over the ridge. Darn!! wish I had one of them rifle combos with a 12 gauge barrel on top and a 270 Win barrel on the bottom for next weekend...can't makeup my mind what I wanna shoot more a turkey or pig. Gonna check gun broker....

I went and spoke with the hunter that missed the pigs. He then advised me, he has been having good luck finding them and has shot several so far...He was hunting with a 308 Remington rifle. He was a very nice gent and told me where he has been seeing them.

Just checked with GB and found a 12 gauge/308 combo and a 12g/30-06 combo rifle, both made by USSG INC Model MP94. Anyone have any experience with one of these as far as being accurate and reliable.

The hunter said the biggest one looked to be about 150 lbs and was spotted (brown with white spots). He has taken some that were all black and looked almost pure Russian.
