Well, went with the 2200. I know, it's not a BW but it seems to have everything I want right now. Thanks for all the input.

The 2200 is a good pack. I went from a Badlands to the Bluewidow, I like them both.

I think the pack just doesn't quite fit my torso as good, even with the ability to move the harness. My badlands pack just seems to fit really nice. I would like to try one of the Blue Widows, but I am afraid I would like it, and the wife isn't going to let me get a new pack right now. lol

I have a 2200 and love it. It makes a great day pack, but I have also used it on week-long excursions as well. I had about 60 pounds packed in this on my last 7-day backcountry elk hunt. I would say that the 2200 isn't ideal for hauling that type of weight around, but it will hold up to the abuse.

I have a Blue Widow. For packing meat and hunting all day, I would not trade it.

Has anyone had issues with the blue widow and weight distribution? It seems like when expanded it puts alot of weight to the sides and back instead of up. Other than that I am looking at this pack or the g11. Any thoughts?

I just ordered a Blue Widow.

Had heard some reports that it may not be a great pack for longer torso guys or taller guys. (im six foot 150 lbs, 18 1/4" torso).

Ive heard that an 18" torso is about all the longer it can accept while maintaining usable lifters. It will adjust to fit longer than that, but the load lifters become useless apparently.
