Well I think the game and fish are really starting to listen the the public. They just concluded a set of meetings about the Platte Valley deer herd. It has been in decline over the last 10 years. They will have a general antlered only season this fall and starting in 2013 the areas will be limited quota and will stay that way thru 2015. Then they will determine if they will stay limited or back to general. Here is a link to the draft
