Nevada online big game application

I have a question about Nevada. As a nonresident if and when I draw a tag when would I pay for the tag? Is there a set time to pay for it by like in Idaho or do they charge your card as soon as you are drawn?

don't forget the non-res hunting license is mandatory just to apply for a tag/points, $142 non-refundable.

Thanks guys! I been applying/buying points for the last 2 years. I was just never clear on when you would pay for the tag. Nv is my 'dream state' and im applying for harder to draw tags and rolling the dice so it may be a while before I get to hunt there.

dream state, reminds me of the first 2 tags/states I ever applied for, MT and NV were those, MT sheep and NV elk, randy ulmer had just taken a 400" elk and was in some article I read, a gorgeous 7x7. I hear elk quality has slipped but hopefully great days will be back in a few years or so. a big NV antelope is also on the list, may happen before that NV elk hunt.

Counting down the days. Areas are picked for all species for both my wife and I she only wants to hunt deer this year but of course ill get bonus points for her for all species. What she doesn't know won't hurt her

maybe because I'm an out of stater, I almost always wait tilt he last minute, when financing $1000 on the ole credit card I figure why let them hang onto my CC any longer than absolutely necessary.

Well I'm here to tell you the Elk herd is strong and a 350" bull in the rite area almost will happen. The Antelope hunting through out our state is also very good. We don't have the numbers as other states like Wy. but the quality for all game is stellar. I find it strange that there is not more talk about Nv on the forums. I assume it's due to the hard to draw tags. Nv is a awesome state to live in and when we draw tags it's a big deal. If you guys draw elk or want to PM me and I'll give you some areas to try and draw.

Thanks Ikeepitcold! After I get the mrs and go over it Ill pm you the units im thinking about.
One thing I like about NV is even in the real hard to draw units you always have some chance to draw.
