I am a licensed residential building contractor. Pretty small potatoes, but I'm damn good at what I do.
I am a garbage man. I drive an automated truck so I have to work-out allot on the side to stay in shape. The best job I've had was probably as a firefighter for the USFS in Payson,AZ on a helicopter crew. I have a degree in Parks and Recreation/ Law Enforcement but like many others that didn't pan-out, Reagan cut the park systems budget in half while I was getting my degree. I think I just dated myself there.

I used to work for the State Fish and Game Department...Now I own my own Wildlife Management and Removal business in Idaho. Thanks to all who served/serve this country-you are all greatly appreciated.
Born and raised in Montana. Did a few years as a Firefighter/EMT and wildland. Currently in the Marine Corps and stationed in San Diego, CA. Can't wait to get back home though and get back in the woods...
From a civilians perspective, you're all in the same boat. If you are willing to sacrifice your life for the benefit of others then you deserve as much recognition as the full timers. Thanks to you all. My daughter's in the Navy. She's on the George H W Bush. They'll be heading out on their maiden voyage soon. USA!!!!
I'm an electrician. I've traveled North America doing specialized electrical safety training for the last two years. It sucks being away from home, family, friends and church but I've seen more in the last two years than I ever thought I would. Because of my job I'll be hunting hogs in TX within the month, mulies and elk in CO this fall, bears in Ontario this fall, gators in FL next year (probably) and mulies and elk in WY next fall. Plus the standard whitetails, turkey and fishing in MI. My job ain't that bad of a gig.
