    Arrow tuning

Does everybody align there broad heads to veins as close as possible? I do but I have talked to several people who say they just screw them on and go. I was just wondering every bodies opinion!! If you are a screw and go person what broad heads are you using? Thx

no, I do not allign them. I have never noticed a difference when the random one ends up being alligned compared to those that are not.

I don't need to with slick tricks, but the old Thunderheads had to be perfectly tuned.

Nope. Never needed to go to that step. A little tweak to my rest is all I need for sighting in my broadheads.

I align my G5 Montecs. I'm not sure if it matters that much, but it can't hurt.

There is no need to align broadheads with the veins. Just make sure the arrow shaft ends are square and that there is no wobble with the broadhead attched doing a spin test. If the broadheads are not perfectly square with the arrow they act as another set of veins and steer the arrow.

I agree to a point, but I have broad heads that work just fine with out aligning and others that you had too. That why I was wondering about what everybody shot. Thx

great advice, I shoot a two blade Magnus Stinger so it's hard to align with veins and I have no problem with flight as long as the broadhead spins true on the arrow.

Aligning broadheads isn't a deal-breaker but when I do refletch they end up aligned just to fit in the quiver better.
