I put in for Devils Garden. With 6 points I couldnt put in for the x zones when you can draw those tags with only 3 or 4 points.

Most of X5b is burned an still burning.The Dodge resevoir area might be your best bet.

I just got home from hunting the Big Valley antelope hunt. It is within the X3A deer area.
I've never seen so many deer anywere in Ca.. If I didn't burn my pts. for X12 this yr., I'd apply for X3A. Saw some nice bucks...
The smoke was pretty bad there in the afternoon but no fires in area. 700 mi. drive for me though. 400 for X12.
I'll try to post a buck that a friend in Susanville killed last year in X4. a 25 in. 6x7 that wieghed 280 lbs. ...

Im glad I didnt put in for those zones this year.If I can get the devils garden tag next year im going to start putting in for something over there. It should be good after allthose fires.
