I have applied 12 times for the once in a lifetime tags.

I wouldn't advise that. Keep plugging the OIL, if you really really want to hunt them there, archery tags are much easier to draw, but archery ibex in that terrain would be a 15 in difficulty on a scale of 1-10.

The only way to get one off florida mountains is to spend lots of time looking but they are there.

Might spend a couple weeks of my vacation down there. Spend tag-soup if you don't see a hair though.

Have you considered a bow tag? friend drew a bow tag 1st year applying, odds are high!

Bow? I'd rather hunt with a shovel.

Might start applying for the muzzleloader hunts. You can shoot modern down there, so it wouldn't be too bad.
