I watched Wydell make an 82 yd shot on TV last night. He took a 2nd shot, but both arrows hit. It seemed like it took forever for the arrow to get there.

Well lets say he's shooting 280 fps and his animal was 246 feet away..........arrow "time of flight" was 0.878 seconds, a little over 3/4 of a second...........by the math it doesn't seem like much but watching the arrow fly it seems like it takes forever to get there.

Well that's if you don't take into account the decrease of an arrow's velocity. That would be true if arrows lost zero energy.

Out to about 100 yards. Won't take a game animal past 80 though.

40 for me, practice out to 60 though.

Practice to 80 confident to 40 given the right conditions.

40 for me, practice out to 60 though.
