The Ulmer Edge

Who's excited to try out the Ulmer Edge come hunting season? They look like a well built strong head that was designed very well.

I have the same heads and am thinking the same thing!

We can only use fixed blade broadheads in Oregon, but if I draw Arizona, I plan to get some. Everything I have heard about them in the field testing has been great.

I think I'll stick with the G5 montecs. I'm not a big fan of mechanical broadheads because there is a chance that they could not expand. With a fixed broadhead, you know that if you put in the right spot, the animal is done!

If they are mechanical I will pass. After 25 years of field testing I have found fixed blade heads to perform perfectly when used properly. Hard to imagine improving on perfection!
