    Thanks for the compliments guys,

Hey Muley 24/7, I mounted the deer myself, I've been practicing Taxidermy for about 25 years. I was once a licensed Taxidermist a long time, but decided to get into a different career and now just do it for pleasure and to save money.

Herman is a good friend and I like stopping by his shop when I'm in the area. We became good friends, when I was a licensed bear guide a few years back. I was so busy guiding, I did not have the time to do my clients Taxidermy work too. So, I would take Herman all my clients kills. I'd like to one day open a Gun/Taxidermy shop when I retire. I don't think I'd ever seen the two business in one building or side by side before.

I'm now showing my niece the art of Taxidermy and she assisted with painting my deer's face. I believe my niece suffers from the hunting bug and is becoming just like me...poor girl, lol.

Bigshot, are you a professional taxidermist or did you just get some DVDs and learn it on your own?

It's a nice buck, and it looks like some great work.
