Wound Loss, great article in the latest Peterson's Hunting by Craig Boddington.

Great article in the latest Peterson's Hunting by Craig.

First article I have ever seen on wounding and losing an animal anywhere.

I still think Wayne Van Zwoll is the best gun writer on the planet, but Boddington is damn sure number 2. Wonderful article.

I had a lot of respect for Boddington until he reviewed a Countersniper scope glowingly, although it didn't hold up or track reliably, even in his own tests. I don't think I have read a single Boddington article since. It was clearly a bought and paid for review.

    Countersniper for cryin' out loud!!!!

I don't think old Craig knows weather he is coming or going, he has so many irons in so many fires.

You know he's an interesting guy, divorced more times than I can count, spent every dime he ever made on hunting, never owned a house until recently. Lived a pretty good life, by all counts.

As far as paid sponsorships go, I would say in his defense that a man has to make a living. And if you get to do something you love and people pay you for it, it's hard to let that get away.

I have spoke with several booking agents that told me that he could hunt with them for free, if he wanted to just for the publicity that he brings to the table. Michael Waddel (for some wierd reason unbeknownst to me), Jim Shockey, Tiffany Lakosky and a few others are the same way.

Money screws up the world something fierce doesn't it?
