    Pagosa Springs Area

I have a friend with a cabin in Pagosa Springs, CO and was wondering if there is a curtain area nearby that produces good mule deer for archery season. I'm from California and this would be my first hunt in CO. Any suggestions?

You might look at Eight Mile Mesa, and southeast of Navajo Peak, also. You can find a few deer up FS 663 under Twin Lakes.
