Thanks!
The farthest I've shot a critter was the pronghorn at 203, I have shot steel and paper out to 500 with a .308 barrel on the Striker. I prefer to get as close as possible to game but I'm pretty comfortable shooting at 300 from a good rest. Since the picture was taken I have traded the Striker off and gone back to the break open guns. I just find them less cumbersome to tote around.

Yea, that's far in my book, for a handgun!

Nice hardware guys! I have a TC Encore rifle and have been thinking of getting a pistol barrel and grips for it. I'm just not sure what caliber to get.
Thanks! It's really not much different than shooting a rifle at the same distances, all you need is an accurate gun and a solid rest. The biggest road block I had was making myself believe it could be done, once I overcame that then the rest was downhill. I also shoot a lot of rocks, I have a spot a few minutes from the house I can shoot at rocks a long way out.

Yea it knocked them right out of the trees, just fall and wiggle a bit. I would aim for the base of neck.
